One of the most famous fountains in Rome is located in Piazza Navona. Author Lorenzo Bernini. The very appearance of this fountain is shrouded in legends. It is said that when a competition was announced for the design of the fountain in Piazza Navona, Bernini was the only one who was not allowed to participate. This was achieved by ill-wishers who influenced the Pope. But friends advised the sculptor to create a model of the future fountain, and once this creation was simply installed in the Pope's living room.→
