St. Paul's Cathedral at first sight became my favorite temple in Rome. Whether it was because it was the first basilica on the list of visits, or its external and internal decoration fascinated me, it is not like any other ... Unfortunately, we were in the Basilica of San Paolo Fuori le Mura once, because it is located outside the city. But you can easily get there by metro on the blue line to the Basilica S. Paolo station. Inside and out, everything looks majestic and delightful. Huge sculptures of the apostles, tall granite columns, a ceiling decorated with gilded panels, a string of mosaic medallions depicting Popes - all this is very impressive.→
