The Pinacoteca di Brera is located in the Brera district north of the
La Scala. It was founded in 1809 and is one of the largest art galleries in the world - its collection is located in 16 rooms. The Pinacoteca keeps masterpieces of outstanding Italian (Raphael, Titian, Bellini, Caravaggio, Modigliani, Tintoretto) and world (Rembrandt, Van Dyck, Goya, El Greco) painters.
