It is one of the best examples of civil architecture of the Renaissance. The architect is probably Giuliano da Mayano, who supervised the construction from 1458 to 1469. The customer - Jacopo de Pazzi - wanted to build a large palace as an element of rivalry between the Pazzi and Medici families. Later, the Paczi family was expelled from Florence, and the palace changed hands several times. In 1913 it was bought by the Bank of Florence and restored by the architect Adolfo Copede. Renaissance theorists believe that the palace is one of the 7 most beautiful palaces in Florence and perfectly meets the requirements of the architectural canons of the time.→
