Ponte Vecchio (Ponte Vecchio, old bridge) is the famous bridge in Florence, located at the narrowest point of the Arno River, almost opposite the Uffizi Gallery. This is the oldest bridge in the city: it was built in 1345 by the architect Neri di Fioravanti and has retained its original appearance to this day. Initially, there were butcher shops; and above the buildings is the Vasari Corridor, named after the architect who created it specifically so that Cosimo I could safely pass from the Palazzo Vecchio to the Palazzo Pitti, and today there are jewelry stores and souvenir sellers.

I would rather call it a shopping gallery. A large number of jewelry stores, excuse me, I can’t name shops, looking at prices. If you carefully consider Yu, then there are very beautiful things. A wonderful view of the Arno River, and from the side the bridge is very cheerful, colorful. If you go to the end, towards the Palazzo Pitti, then on the left is a very good supermarket. But the most beautiful view we got from the window of the Uffizi Gallery.

The famous bridge has been preserved since 1345. At first, there were butcher shops on it. (Walking the Medici from the Palazzo Signoria to the Palazzo Pitti and admiring the meat ...Fi ... ) And Ferdinando 1 ordered them to be removed and replaced with jewelry, which flourish to this day. Be sure to take a walk. In the middle of the bridge there is an observation platform overlooking the river. Arno and a bust of Cellini (modern bust) And look for a sundial on one of the buildings (it still works).
