Many tourists think that the glorious temple of San Petronio on Piazza Maggiore is the main cathedral of Bologna. But not so. The Cathedral of the city is the church of St. Peter. The greatest early riddles about the Church of St. Peter in Bologna date back to the 10th century, and in 1141 the buddy died away at the later.
