The Goa Chitra Ethnographic Museum and Center is located in the village of Benaulim in the south of Goa, next to Margao. The museum displays traditional Goan agricultural techniques and lifestyle. The museum has a large collection of artifacts (over 4000).
Was founded in 2010. TimeOut Mumbai called the museum one of the most interesting places in Goa, adding - "it is a small village complex, with thousands of traditional tools, utensils, and tools that have evolved through the centuries in the agrarian culture of Goa, in the service of agriculture and other traditional crafts. The owner is Goan Victor Nugo Gomez, restorer, artist, art critic, collector. Expositions are presented both in the museum building and on the territory. Taking pictures of the exhibits is prohibited.
