The Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary is located 20 kilometers east of the city of Ponda, on the border with the province of Sankerim, and 38 kilometers from the city of Margao. Located in the middle of the jungle and covering an area of 8 square kilometers, the reserve is considered an ideal place for leisure activities for nature lovers and families with children. In the natural corner there is a mini-zoo, a safari park where you can watch deer, botanical gardens and a recreation area. In the reserve you can ride an elephant. The employees of the nature corner can provide information about the peculiarities of the animals' habitat, as well as show interesting exhibits, such as the skeleton of a whale.
Hotel services are organized on the territory of the reserve. Vacationers can rent a cottage in an ecologically clean area. The restaurant, which is part of the hotel complex, serves local Goan, Chinese and Indian cuisine.
