Dudhsagar waterfall

Dudhsagar Falls
India, North Goa
The Dudhsagar waterfall is located 60 km east of the capital of Goa, Panaji, in the foothills of the Western Ghats. The height of the waterfall is 603 meters, it is the second largest in India. The water of the waterfall has a milky white color, which is why it was called the "milk ocean". The excursion to the waterfall is quite large-scale, it is designed for the whole day. After the tourists are picked up from their hotels, they are brought to the town of Kolem, where they are transferred to jeeps. On the way to the waterfall, there is a stop at the Bondla Nature Reserve, which has a zoo with various species of animals. In the zoo, tourists can not only look at exotic animals, but also ride elephants. At the foot of the waterfall, you can swim in a clear mountain lake with cool water, and then feed the little monkeys living in the local jungle.

I visited the waterfall as part of a tour group. Very cool place. You can swim right in the lagoon. Monkeys run along the banks. Lots of Indians keeping order. And when the train went over the bridge - the feeling was indescribable! Definitely the coolest thing in Goa!

A very exciting tour. By the way, when we were there, it was already impossible to feed the monkeys, at the entrance they checked the bags and took away all the food. The reason is that the monkeys on free food stopped getting food themselves. And in the off season they raid villages. The waterfall and the park itself are very beautiful, you must see it with your own eyes, it is simply impossible to describe it. Monkeys are amazing! There are a lot of them, it's cool to watch them, and the kids are generally adorable.
