The walls of the red sandstone fort stretch for 2.5 km, and the height from the side of the city reaches 33 meters. The fortress was once built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the image and likeness of the paradise described in the Koran. Above the entrance to the palace of the fortress, the words "If there is a paradise in the world, then it is here" are carved.
