The temple is small and you can see it slowly in just half an hour, but in order to feel the atmosphere, you need to spend several hours here. It is noteworthy that the temple has two names: Lakshmi Narayan (folk) and Birla Mandir (official). It turned out that the temple was erected at the expense of the Birla family under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi, and the ancient sanctuary of Lakshmi served as a place for construction. In those days, Mahatma Gandhi actively fought against the social stratification of society and the temple was supposed to act as a symbol of the absence of caste differences.→
