Siddhivinayak temple

Siddhivinayak Temple
India, Bombay-Mumbai
The Siddhivinayak Temple, opened in November 1801, is dedicated to the god of wisdom and prosperity, Ganesha; all eight of his incarnations are collected in the temple, with sincere respect for which, according to legend, the wish of the prayer will come true. Outside, the temple delights with walls of dozens of small turrets with golden spiers. The main statue of the temple is the four-armed Ganesha, whose body is wrapped around a sacred snake. The inner halls are richly decorated with gold, decorated with the finest carvings and many statues. The temple has become one of the most popular temples in Mumbai, thanks to the attention of Bollywood stars, after which ordinary citizens began to come here for prayers.
