Habima Theater
Habima, Habima
Israel, Tel Aviv
Habima is the oldest repertory theater in the State of Israel. Hebrew teacher Naum Tsemakh, a staunch admirer of the theatre, founded "Habima" in Moscow in 1917 together with Menachem Gnesin and Khana Rovina, who years later was called "the first lady of the theatre". In Tel Aviv, the theater received its building in 1946.
