Pagoda House
Pagoda House, Beit HaPagoda, Pagoda House
Israel, Tel Aviv
The Pagoda House is one of the most famous buildings in Tel Aviv. The building is located on King Albert I Square.
The house gets its name from the sloping shape of its roof, which resembles a Japanese pagoda. The house was built for himself in 1925 by Maurice (Moshe David) Bloch, a wealthy widower who emigrated to America in the early 20th century and immigrated to Israel at the end of World War I.
