Dublin Zoo
Dublin Zoo
Ireland, Dublin
Dublin Zoo - the largest in Ireland and one of the oldest zoos in the world - was founded in 1830 thanks to a collection of animals donated to him by the London Zoo. The zoo with an area of 26 hectares is located in the city park "Phoenix" and is one of the main attractions of the country, because the zoo has been visited by about 1 million tourists in recent years. On the territory of the zoo, thematic zones dedicated to certain types of fauna have been created: "World of Primates", "World of Cats", "City Farm", "African Plains", "House of Reptiles".
Dublin Zoo - Home of the Hollywood "movie star". This is the lion that has become the hallmark of the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film company, and which we see in the intro before most Hollywood films.
