Church of St. St. Anthony of Padua, also known as the Church of the Minorites, is located in the center of Eger, on Stvan Dobo Square. The church was built in 1773 by the Minorite Franciscans in honor of St. Anthony of Padua. The Minorite Church is considered one of the most beautiful Baroque churches in Hungary. In the temple, you can see frescoes from the end of the sixteenth century, as well as a majestic statue of St. Anthony.

On the central square of Eger, the square of Istvan Dobo, the defender of the Eger fortress, this church is located. It is rightfully considered one of the most beautiful marriage churches in Europe. Consecrated in honor of St. Anthony of Padua. Two basilica towers with chimes and clocks. They call at 11.15 and 18 o'clock. The frescoes and the statue of St. Anthony. In front of the entrance in the center of the square there is a monument to Istvan Dobo and a view of the Eger fortress.
