The Hungarian National Museum is one of the main museums in Budapest, dedicated to the history and art of Hungary. Housed in a majestic building with columns designed by Mihai Pollak. The museum was founded in 1802 on the basis of the collection of coins, books and manuscripts of Count Ferenc Szechenyi, and at present the museum's funds include more than a million different exhibits.
