The triumphal Arch of Sergius was built in the 1st century BC by the patrician Salvia Postuma from the Sergius family. It was erected in honor of three members of the Sergius clan, who fought on the side of Octavian Augustus and defeated the enemy. The arch was built in the Corinthian style and leads to the city. Grooved columns rise on both sides of it, on the tops of which there are bas-reliefs depicting chariots. Most of the decorations are concentrated on the outside of the wall.
