Roč is a small ancient city in the northeast of the Croatian peninsula of Istria. It is an important cultural center of Croatia with well-preserved monuments of history and architecture.
The sights of the city include the well-preserved city wall, built by the Venetians in 1421. The settlement also preserved the church of St. Anthony of the 14th century. (made in the late Gothic style, on the wall of which you can see a small Glagolitic inscription dating from the 13th century), the Romanesque Cathedral of San Rocco and St. Bartholomew, extensively renovated in 1494 and then rebuilt in 1746 and 1765 with a change in style in baroque.
