City of Kallithea
Kalithea, Kalithea
Greece, Rhodes
Kallithea is a quiet town with an abundance of flowering greenery, located in a rocky bay and protected from the winds by mountains. There is a beautiful sand and pebble beach and crystal clear water. As in every resort settlement, there are many hotels and souvenir shops, taverns and bars in Kallithea, and a scuba diving center is also open.
Kallithea is famous for its mineral springs that help with rheumatism and other arthritis. On the basis of these springs, a complex of mineral waters was built, created by an Italian architect during the Turkish rule. The complex includes not only baths and saunas, but also a garden with a museum. The museum exhibits photographs from feature films that were filmed in this beautiful place. Also at the top of the cliff there is a luxurious garden from where you can admire the sea views.
