Therma beach
Therma Beach
Greece, Kos
The beach is located at a distance of about 8 km from the town of Kos, next to Agios Fokas. It got its name from the hot spring that comes down from the mountain. The beach was discovered in 1934 by the Italian archaeologist Lorenzi. Terma is covered with small dark stones, and the hot spring itself is surrounded by large stones. The beach is shallow, you can sit in the water all day. In addition, bubbles rise from the ground, forming a kind of natural whirlpool.
Hot spring water contains potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, sulfur and chlorine and is therefore effective in treating many diseases.
