One of the most interesting buildings of the Old Town is the entrance to the estate of the Venetian Rainier family. In addition to the remains of a mansion and courtyards, there are ruins of the chapel of St. Nicholas. The entrance portal is decorated with the coat of arms of the Rainier family and the Latin phrase: "MULTA TULIT, FECITQUE AT STUDUIT DULCES / PATER, SUDAVIT ET ALSIT SEMPER REQUIES CERENAT, MDCVIII" ( he rests in peace. 1608 "). The street in front of the gate is so narrow that it is impossible to photograph the gate directly, only from the side.→
