Archaeological Museum in Athens, located on the site of the Athenian Agora in the reconstructed Stoa of Atalossa, originally dated around 150 BC. e. A characteristic feature of the Museum of the Athens Agora is that most of its exhibits are closely related to the Athenian democracy, since the Agora served as the center of the social life of Ancient Athens.
The funds of the collection of the Archaeological Museum of the Athenian Agora contain various metal products, sculptures, coins, ceramics, amphorae and other archaeological finds.
The Stoa of Attala or Attalossa is a long portico gallery that is best preserved in the Agora. Mostly standing, Attala served as an exquisite place for casual walks and conversations. The stoa, restored to its original form, is an example of geometric forms.
