St. James's Park is a royal park in Westminster, the beginning of a "green belt" in central London, which stretches west from here through Green Park and Hyde Park to Kensington Gardens. St. James's Palace overlooks the park from the north, Buckingham Palace from the west, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from the east. St. James's Park is considered the oldest in London.
