The Royal Mews are located south of Buckingham Palace. The old building was built in 1825. There is a collection of carriages, wagons and cars used at different times by the British monarchs. Among the exhibits are the Golden Carriage of 1762, the Glass Carriage serving kings at wedding ceremonies. The royal stables continue to work for their intended purpose to this day.
