Big Ben is famous for its legendary clock, which is located at a height of 55 meters from the surface of the earth. The diameter of the dials is huge: 7 meters. Big and handsome Ben
Until I saw the towers with my own eyes, I did not understand what people admired. It turned out that the clock is on all 4 sides, and the diameter of the dial is about 7 meters! It turned out that there are thousands of carved details on the tower, which are usually not visible in photographs, all in very fine, perfect condition. There is also gilding, but not much at all, just to emphasize the beauty of the stone. Many elements can only be seen through binoculars or through the viewfinder of a zoom camera.→
