On the southern edge of Saint-Remy-de-Provence, on the opposite side of the road from the Monastery of Saint-Paul-de-Musol, on Avenue Vincent Van Gogh is the Arc de Triomphe. It was erected in honor of the conquest of Marseille and led to Glanum, from which it is now separated by a highway. Over time, the Arch has lost some of the reliefs that adorn it, telling about the conquest of Gaul by Caesar. Access to the Arch is free.
