On the southern edge of Saint-Remy-de-Provence, on the opposite side of the road from the Monastery of Saint-Paul-de-Musol, on Avenue Vincent Van Gogh is the Arc de Triomphe. It was erected in honor of the conquest of Marseille and led to Glanum, from which it is now separated by a highway. Over time, the Arch has lost some of the reliefs that adorn it, telling about the conquest of Gaul by Caesar. Access to the Arch is free. If you are interested in ancient Roman themes, you can separately visit Glanum, where excavations have been carried out for almost a hundred years.→
