On the southern outskirts of Saint-Remy-de-Provence, on the opposite side of the road from the Monastery of Saint-Paul-de-Musol, on Avenue Vincent Van Gogh is the Mausoleum (cenotaph). It was erected in memory of the two nephews of Augustus - Kai and Lucius, who died very young on the battlefield. The pedestal of the mausoleum is decorated with reliefs and images of various battles. Dated to the 1st century AD. If you are interested in ancient Roman themes, you can separately visit Glanum, where excavations have been carried out for almost a hundred years.→
