Fountain of Nostradamus

The Fountain of Nostradamus is located in the historical part of the city, at the corner of Carnot and Nostradamus streets. The fountain was built in 1814, made of white marble. The sculpture is decorated with intricate animal images, the fountain is crowned with a bust of the great astrologer, installed in 1859.

Saint Remy de Provence and Nostradamus
Saint-Remy-de-Provence, as the hometown of the famous Nostradamus, was not satisfied with just a house named after him. At the address: Rue Carnot, 30 there is also the Fountain of Nostradamus. This fountain was opened in 1814 and originally featured a bust of Louis XVI. But after the abduction of the bust of Louis by unknown attackers, it was replaced with a bust of Nostradamus.→
