I don’t really like country residences, and I know even less about landscape gardening complexes. We visited this excursion as part of a bus tour, simply because it was very well included in the tour program. There was plenty of time for viewing the exposition in the palace and for a walk in the park. I looked through the information before the trip and assumed that there were long distances, but what are they ...The ticket that the travel agency provided us with a visit to the park was not included. and to 30 euros for the tour, we still bought a ticket for the entrance to the park for 7 euros. In the palace you can take an audio guide and see everything perfectly. There were a lot of people in the palace, but you can get an idea. You can take pictures. At the palace, as always, a gift shop. A lot of all sorts of nonsense from magnets to macaroons in souvenir packages. What can I say about the park. I didn't like it, I didn't like it at all.
And if the fountains were working, it would add little for me personally. We wandered around the baskets, in one of them we came across a cafe and drank coffee for 4.5 euros. To the village of Marie Antoinette and the Petit Trianon, well, very far. Leaving the Park and the palace, we walked around the town of Versailles for a bit. I give 5 points. For me, for all the time of active travel, this is the most boring excursion. If you came to Paris for two nights by bus tour, then do not take this tour. Just make the most of this time in Paris!
