I have never been to the Opera so early. Since there are always long queues, we decided to arrive 20 minutes before the opening. True, they were no longer the first, but they got in with the first group. The visit opens at 9.30. Tickets for 9 euros (paid by card). There were very few people and we could see both the elegant staircase and the promenade with chandeliers. The theater museum is also interesting, and interesting photos of the boulevards were taken from the balcony. Unfortunately, there was a rehearsal in the hall and we did not see the famous dome. At the next visit, we considered not a matinee, but a real performance. Tickets for the performance cost 120 euros. I didn't do it. It is more convenient to consider the theater in a simple tour, and not during a performance. The dome is very impressive. The theater has a gift shop. There you can buy honey from the apiary located on the roof of the Opera for 25 euros.
