Cemetery de Passy is quite small, located right next to the metro and the Trocadero. Despite the proximity of the colossal number of people who came to look at the Eiffel Tower, as well as the endless stream of cars and buses bringing tourists, the cemetery is quite quiet and calm, there were no people at all. It is little visited and practically unknown to tourists, although the proportion of great and famous citizens of France buried here is large. Officially, they began to bury on it from 1820, although before that there had already been a small necropolis since 1802.→
