Eiffel Tower

La tour Eiffel, Eiffel Tower
France, Paris
The Eiffel Tower is the most recognizable architectural landmark in Paris, world famous as a symbol of France, named after its designer Gustave Eiffel. Eiffel himself called it simply - the 300-meter tower.

In 2006, 6,719,200 people visited the tower, and in its entire history up to December 31, 2007, 236,445,812 people. That is, the tower is the most visited and most photographed attraction in the world. This symbol of Paris was conceived as a temporary structure - the tower served as the entrance arch to the Paris World Exhibition of 1889. From the planned demolition (20 years after the exhibition), the tower was saved by radio antennas installed at the very top - this was the era of the introduction of radio.

A lot has been written about this attraction. But none of the sights of Paris caused so much controversy and denial during the construction period. And who would have thought that in some 50 years, the “ink blot over the city”, as V. Hugo wrote, would become the most recognizable symbol of the country in all corners of the planet. Therefore, a lot of people want to visit it. If you do not want to stand in long lines, it is best to go with an accredited guide (they are allowed out of line) or buy a ticket in advance on the website.

No matter how trite it may sound, the Eiffel Tower is the best attraction in Paris. What a thrill to walk along the streets of the city and admire it. Both near and far, the tower is beautiful. I don’t advise standing +100500 in line to climb, it’s better to climb the Montparnasse tower. Here there is a panorama of the whole of Paris, so you can also see the Eiffel Tower itself. And be sure to come at 21:00 to see how it lights up with millions of lights. This is Love!

https://www. youtube. com/watch? v=-7ZjpzZeV-U I HAPPENED TO SEE THIS BEAUTY IN THE RAIN, BUT THIS DID NOT UPGRADE US IN ANY WAY - ON THE VERSE, IT IS BEAUTIFUL, OF COURSE WE CLIMBED BY THE ELEVATOR, AS WE WERE WITH CHILDREN, IT WOULD TAKE MUCH MORE TIME ON WALK, BUT WHEN CLIMBING UP YOU FORGET EVERYTHING! EVERY HOUR IT LIGHTS WITH MILLIONS OF LIGHTS, THIS IS WHAT WE HAD TO SEE IN THE RAIN. LOOK FOR YOURSELF.

You may like it, you may not like it, but the fact that the Eiffel Tower is a recognizable symbol of Paris is unconditional. While it was being built, many Parisians grumbled against this construction. At one time, 300 cultural figures wrote a famous protest against the mutilation of Paris by this building. The signatories included Alexandre Dumas son, Charles Gounod, Lecomte de Lisle, the architect of the Paris Opera Charles Garnier, Guy de Maupassant and others. With Guy de Maupassant, the situation is generally very curious.

Paris is a city that everyone dreams of seeing. Well, so do I, of course. Even at school age, reading the novels of Dumas, I dreamed of visiting this city, where once upon a time eminent monarchs-Henry IV and Maria Medici, Louis XIII and Anna of Austria, Louis XIV and Napoleon ruled, to walk along the streets where the foot had set foot the famous royal musketeers and where the insidious Cardinal Richilier weaved his intrigues. But then I did not know that my dreams would come true. But they came true! Oh Paris!! ! This city is magical, unique and simply imbued with romance, centuries of history, the smell of roasted chestnuts and freshly baked croissants.

Impressions of Paris cannot be expressed in words, it must be felt. People are very friendly towards tourists, there are maps at the stops indicating the current location and sights. It's impossible to get lost. Therefore, I advise you to take a walk along the Seine, Place de la Concorde, Rivoli, etc. , drink coffee with a real croissant. If you plan to visit paid attractions, it is better to buy tickets online in advance. This way you can save time and money.

We all know that there is an Eiffel Tower in Paris. But when you see her, only then you realize how gorgeous she is. The history of creation and today's features of the content of this wonderful creation are very interesting.

To visit Paris and not climb this openwork beauty? You can go up by elevators and up to the 2nd level on foot. But I don't think it's easy. It's up to you to decide. We are a little lucky. Some events were held in Paris and the ascent to the 3rd level did not work, so there were much fewer people who wanted to. We didn't want to go up there. 45 minutes in line, 16 euros (payment by card) and we are already going up the elevator to the 2nd level. Photographing and admiring Paris. At that time, a photo exhibition was shown there on how the festive illumination was mounted.
