On the Boulevard de la Liberation is the majestic Palace of Justice (Palais de Justice), created in the neoclassical style by the architect Gaston Bourdon. The building was built in 1836. It is believed that the author was inspired by the ancient Roman temple Maison Carré , which is also located in Nimes, for a similar construction project. Now here is the Court of Appeal of the three departments of France.→
