The Church of Saint Perpetua is located in the city center near the Nîmes Amphitheater. It was founded in 1852 by Napoleon III and completed in 1864. The Neo-Gothic church is the highest in Nimes, its bell tower reaches a height of 70 meters and is crowned with a 600-kilogram openwork cross.

The Church of St. Perpetui (Eglise Sainte-Perpetue) was founded personally by Napoleon III Bonaparte during his visit to Nimes in 1852. Built in an eclectic style by the architect Leon Feuchè re. Pay attention to the interesting exhibition located inside the church, which is dedicated to the process of restoration of local icons. Address: Boulevard de Prague. Closed on Sunday. Saturday open from 9:15 am to 12:00 pm. On other days from 7-45 to 12-00 and from 14-00 to 18-00. Free admission.
