Museum of Fine Arts
Musée des Beaux-arts de Nice, Fine Arts Museum of Nice
France, Nice
The Museum of Fine Arts in Nice opened its doors to the public in 1928. It is almost entirely devoted to French artists of various styles and trends. The museum is housed in an exquisite mansion surrounded by a small park. His rich collections are located on two floors of the palace in chronological order: on the first floor - works of the 17th-18th centuries, and on the second - paintings and sculptures of the 19th-early 20th centuries. Here are collected paintings, glassware, sculptures, and ceramics - the works of such famous French artists and impressionists as J. Fragonard, C. Van Loo, O. Rodin, E. Degas, C. Monet, J. Cheret, E. Bodin and many others.
