On the Place Joseph d'Arbaud is the former Cathedral of Cavaillon, named after the Blessed Virgin Mary and Saint Veran of Cavaillon. In the 6th century, this place was the episcopal residence. The current building and decor date from the 13th century. Before the French Revolution, the temple was the cathedral of the diocese of Cavaillon. Then the diocese of Cavaillon was abolished and annexed to the diocese of Avignon. Free admission.→
