The main building, in the style characteristic of the medieval churches of Avignon, was erected in 1358, and its facade, decorated in the flamboyant Gothic style, dates back to the next century. One of the main advantages of St. Peter's Church is its carved walnut doors. Their rich decoration, made by the sculptor Antoine Volard in 1551, is in the Renaissance style. Amazing atmosphere here. Somehow, without agreeing, we singled out this church from the whole variety of temples that we visited, and then returned here with enviable constancy.→
