The Rhone embankment is a great place for a stroll. Here you have a full-flowing beautiful river; and the remains of a bridge, which was less fortunate than Saint-Bé né zet in Avignon - only supports remained of it; and shady squares where cheerful French grandfathers play petanque (petanque). By the way, petanque is the Provencal national sport. The essence of the game is that the players of the two teams, throwing metal balls in turn, try to put their ball as close as possible next to the center - the jack.→
