The Art Museum is located in the city center to the west of the Turku Cathedral. It was opened in 1904. The museum is housed in a unique building made of gray stone, built in the style of romanticism. Its collection includes paintings and sculptures by Finnish masters, medieval wooden statues, ancient weapons and much more.
