Ranua Wildlife Park is a zoo located in the municipality of Ranua in the province of Lapland, 80 kilometers south of the city of Rovaniemi. It is located a little south of the Arctic Circle and is considered the northernmost zoo in the world.
About 60 species of northern fauna live in the park. The route is arranged in such a way that all animals and birds meet consecutively and in conditions approaching natural ones. Here you can see polar bears, brown bears, lynx, wolf, wolverine, arctic fox, elk, reindeer, fallow deer, roe deer, musk ox, wild boars, otters, martens, beavers, birds of prey and poultry, snakes and other animals.
