By the way, knives are not cheap here, but I’ll tell you a little secret: before the souvenir market closes (and it closes quite early, at three in the afternoon the sellers are already starting to turn up the tents) you can significantly bring down the price - from 10 to 20 euros. It is especially good here in summer, when tents with fried fish are set up, and its aromas are carried along the embankment, attracting not only tourists, but also impudent seagulls. So, if you decide to have a snack in the open air, be careful - seagulls do not sleep, and they already have experience in weaning food from careless travelers! : ) On Kauppatori Square they also sell strawberries and even seedlings - depending on the season. Several boats are moored here offering boat trips, and from here you can go to the zoo and Suomenlinna Fortress.
