The garden city of Tapiola is located on the shores of the Gulf of Finland and is a residential area of ​​Espoo, a satellite city of Helsinki. Tapiola was designed and built in the 1960s in such a way as to achieve maximum harmony between residential buildings and the surrounding nature. It is on the territory of the district that the April Jazz festival, the Espoo Cine film festival, and the Vocal Espoo choir singing festival are held. For lovers of outdoor activities in Tapiola, the Jaapuutarha skating rink is open in winter.
