The town of Rupit is located in the province of Girona in Spain, in a secluded area. The city was built in a gorge on hardened lava formed after a volcanic eruption. This place is also called the “city of witches”, since in the Middle Ages witches were brought here for execution. At present, outwardly, Rupit is not much different from its old look: the architecture of buildings and streets has been preserved, and entry by transport is prohibited.
