Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia
Museo de Bellas Artes
Spain, Valencia
The Fine Arts Museum of Valencia, dating back to the 17th century, houses the largest collection of paintings in Spain. At one time, the premises of the current museum were occupied by a theological Catholic seminary. The originally decorated museum building is located near the embankment of the Turia River, surrounded by a picturesque park.
In the museum's collection you can see the works of eminent world-famous masters of painting. A separate part of the exposition is represented by the works of Spanish artists, ranging from the Middle Ages to the first half of the twentieth century.
