The Royal Basilica of Candelaria is a Catholic church located in the city of Candelaria in Tenerife. The temple is consecrated in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary - Our Lady of Candelaria, patroness of the Canary Islands - and is the largest sanctuary in the Canary Islands. The basilica, together with the sanctuary of the Virgin Mary, forms a single religious complex and is the center of Catholic pilgrimage. Near the church is the Dominican monastery of the Presentation of the Lord and the Museum of Church Art.
