On Carrer de Sant Joan street there is an unusual monument of a giant Indian. This peculiar monument was erected in honor of the Catalan holiday Ciutat Gegantera, the main characters of which are huge figures (made, as a rule, from papier-mâ ché ). The "Giants of Reus" annually participate in the main city festivals and carnivals, passing through the streets and performing their dances as part of a colorful procession. Two of the ten giants of Reus are made in the form of Indians and personify America.→
