Bofarul Palace
Palacio Bofarull, Bofarull Palace
Spain, Reus
Bofarul Palace is located in the heart of Reus. It was built in the 18th century for José Bofarul, the mayor of the city. The architectural design belongs to brother José Francis Bofarul Gavalda. The painting of the interior rooms was done by the artist Pere Pau Montania. The Bofarul family lived in the palace until 1836. After them, Count Rius inherited it. Later, the Olympus entertainment establishment was located here, but in the 30s the palace was confiscated by the anarchist organization of Iberia.
In 1986 it was decided to set up a conservatory here. The restoration was carried out under the direction of Javier Olive.
