The Grau Pla house was built in 1910 by the architect Pere Caseles, commissioned by Miquel Grau Cabri, in honor of his marriage to the heiress of the Pla family. The building is decorated with flower bas-reliefs, the window of the third floor is made in the form of a Greek cross. In the design there are forged balcony grilles, characteristic of the Art Nouveau style. Between the arches on the ground floor you can see a medallion with the initials of the owner of the house. Inside, there is a well-preserved living room with mahogany furniture by Enrik Oliva, a well-known cabinetmaker from Reu. The House of Grau Pla is also known as the House of the Baron Llorac.

Walk along the Reus Art Nouveau Route
Casa Grau-Pla, address: Carrer de Sant Joan, 32. Architect Pere Caselles, built in 1910. The building is also known as Casa del Baro de Llorach, since the first owner of the mansion was a native of a small Catalan town called Llorach. The special charm of the decor of this house lies in the semicircular arches with floral ornaments framing all the door and window openings (Belgian Art Nouveau style).→
