Church of Sant Pere (Prioral de Sant Pere de Reus), address: Carrer Ample. The first written mention of the church dates back to the 12th century. The current building is designed in the late Gothic style. Inside the temple, pay attention to the chapel, which houses the candle of St. Mary (Candela de Santa Maria), according to tradition, it burns both day and night. According to local legend, once the candle went out and the plague came to the city. Reus was saved from that terrible epidemic in the 16th century by a shepherdess named Isabel, whom the Mother of God appeared to and ordered to light the candle again.→
